CYBERDELICS is the intersection of cybernetics and psychedelics. Cybernetic systems can be transformed into tools for the liberation of consciousness. The digital revolution was in reality a revolution of the mind, a freedom from constraints. The word "psychedelic" means "mind-manifesting," and there is nothing more mind-manifesting than computers. Technology is psychedelic because it is the power of imagination that plays a major role in inventing new ideas and techniques.

Outside the box

Psychedelics can sideline certain parts of the brain, allowing other parts of the brain to take over tasks. The very use of those other parts of the brain often results in finding new connections and increased creativity. Psychedelics cause the Default Mode Network to become less active. In addition to lowering self and time awareness, it also allows ideas to be visualized, which makes coming up with ideas easier. After all, a picture or video says much more than a thousand words. Higher doses of psychedelics such as psilocybin are also known to eliminate speech and language, even the thoughts are out of words and therefore different from what you normally think. All of these properties can spur creative thinking.
