Truffle ceremony and burnout

A truffle ceremony or truffle session is increasingly used as an aid to resolve complaints such as depression and anxiety-related symptoms. Such a truffle session then goes better with the right preparation that then responds to the theme of the symptoms. After the bore-out of recent times, burn-out is lurking again. At trip therapy we also organize truffle ceremonies/sessions with burnout in mind.

Burnout in brief

Prolonged stress/anxiety activates the adrenal glands for too long. Adrenal exhaustion results from having to release too much cortisol for a long time due to: stress, anger, anxiety, etc. Adrenal exhaustion occurs because stress is continuous. Stress is meant to react quickly in intense situations. The demand is greater than the adrenal glands can produce. Some people have so much stress in their lives over a long period of time that they develop health problems. Tensions can be caused by many different factors. One characteristic may be that you are facing an impossible task that you do not see a solution for or that there is a fear hidden in the subconscious mind. This creates tension and if it lasts too long, your body responds. Prolonged tension and thus the production of cortisol, is the culprit when it comes to exhaustion of the adrenal glands.

Preventing or remedying burnout

The key is to work toward a solution in four areas. First, we should spare the adrenal glands by reducing stress. Second, we need to replenish the stores of spent building materials. Replenishing these substances can be done through diet and supplementation. Furthermore, other neurotransmitters may also be out of balance, causing anxiety to play a greater role earlier. That is why we also look to see if dopamine, serotonin, GABA and acetylcholine are out of balance. Finally, sex hormones may play a role in higher susceptibility to burnout.

The fears in the subconscious brain

The fears and negative patterns in the subconscious that make you more likely to get burnout can be clarified with psychedelics so we can do something about it. Maybe you have heard good things about ayahuasca or LSD therapy for burnout? We mainly use truffles with psilocybin and psilocin (also found in magic mushrooms). Also, psilocybin and psilocin is the least harmful drug/medication of all time. With the exception of combination with certain medications, there is most likely no chance of physical harm from the active ingredients.

Overview procedure trip therapy

Typically, with most clients, we maintain a schedule as follows:

  1. Registration including intake and neurotransmitter test (questionnaire)
  2. Advice on nutrition exercise and supplements based on point 1
  3. A period of 1-2 weeks of progress viewing point 2
  4. An individual psychedelic session* (Unless a group has additional utility or preference)
  5. Review of psychedelic therapy on the same day
  6. After about 1-2 weeks another follow-up discussion

Optional with burnout treatments: Relaxed forest walk with tips and tricks to avoid stress through movement and posture.

*During the psychedelic session, in addition to using psilocybin, we also use aromatherapy, color therapy, carefully selected music, herbs and stimulating supplements. All of this is tailored to the client and the goal.
